WEST PALM BEACH, FLA. (March 4, 2017)

Cities and mayors from all of our area are joining with Lesser Lesser Landy & Smith for a major initiative to celebrate the firm’s 90th anniversary.

In honor of this historic occasion, the firm is partnering with the leadership from the cities of West Palm Beach, Wellington and Boca to announce three major community service goals:

  • Give back over 3000 community service hours in those cities
  • Award more than $500,000 to various charities and causes in the community
  • Donate more than 300 hours of pro-bono work

Mayor Jeri Muoio said, “We are lucky to have such amazing partners as Lesser Lesser Landy and Smith. I’m honored to be a part of their 90th anniversary celebration and thrilled at the amount of community service they plan to give back to our city and other cities around our area.”

On Friday March 3rd, the entire firm will be in all three communities completing all the “90th” goals.
In West Palm Beach Lesser Lesser Landy and Smith will partner with the Housing and Community Development Authority for community outreach to the homeless population. Starting at 10am, members of LLL&S will be joined by West Palm Beach Mayor Jeri Muoio.

In Wellington at 8:30am LLL&S will be participating in a Adopt-A-Road cleanup with the Wellington Community Foundation. In Boca Raton at 8:30am LLL&S attorneys will be volunteering at Tri-County Animal Rescue helping with a beautification project.

Then, the 90th anniversary celebration will culminate in a grand gala at the West Palm Beach Hilton with host committee members, Joe Catrambone, Stuart/Martin County Chamber of Commerce President; Ann Gerwig, Mayor of Wellington; Susan Haynie, Mayor of Boca Raton; Jeri Muoio, Mayor of West Palm Beach and Florida Bar President Bill Schifino.

“I can think of no better way to mark 90 years in this area than giving back”, said Managing Partner Gary Lesser. “Our tradition of professional service, getting results for our clients, and community service will continue to be the cornerstone of our firm. Generations after my grandfather founded this firm, I am proud to work with a team that will keep that tradition going.”

Lesser Lesser Landy and Smith is the third oldest law firm in West Palm Beach, founded by Joseph Lesser in 1927.
