JEFFERY F. GORDON

JEFFREY F. GORDON

Partner

As a licensed foster parent for more than a decade, Firm Partner Jeffrey F. Gordon is steadfast in his resolve to stand up for others.
Jeff is a partner in our Boca Raton office who focuses his practice on personal injury and wrongful death litigation, including automobile liability, premises liability and product liability. A Board Certified Civil Trial Lawyer since 1993, Jeff has successfully handled numerous claims over one million dollars and has extensive experience in highway construction site and commercial trucking accident cases.
A native of Philadelphia, Jeff graduated from Emory University in Atlanta with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Philosophy and Political Science. While in law school at the University of Florida, he served as Chief Defense Counsel for the University of Florida Honor Court, was a legal research and writing teaching assistant, and served as a certified legal intern with the Public Defender’s Office, where he tried numerous criminal cases. Upon graduating with his juris doctorate in 1986, Jeff began work as a criminal defense attorney in Miami, where he received extensive trial experience.
A year later, Jeff joined the law firm of Broad and Cassel, where he became an equity partner in 1994. He served as the firm’s sole personal injury attorney, handling cases throughout Florida and in numerous other states.  Jeff left Broad and Cassel after 30 years to join the team of Lesser, Lesser, Landy & Smith.
Jeff is very active in the community, holding leadership roles in several organizations that support foster and caregiving youth. He is Chairman of the Board of Champions Empowering Champions, an organization that supports former foster youth at Florida Atlantic University. Jeff also serves as Vice Chair of the American Association of Caregiving Youth, he is a Board Member of Friends of Foster Children, and a Board member of Flite Center. All these non-profit organizations support foster youth in our community. In addition, Jeff is President of the Emory Palm Beach Alumni Association, and is co-chair of the Civil Practice Committee of the South Palm Beach County Bar Association.
Jeff spends his free time playing basketball in local leagues and traveling to Masters Basketball tournaments throughout the country and the world. He is also a guitarist in The Fast Crowd, a classic rock band that plays locally in Boca Raton.
