CHAD C. HASTINGS
Partner
For Chad Hastings, hustle hit and never quit has as much meaning in a courtroom as it does on a tennis court.Â
Chad’s love of tennis is matched only by his passion for helping injured clients and their families get the compensation they deserve. His significant jury trial experience spans more than two decades of representing plaintiffs in personal injury and commercial litigation cases.Â
Since joining the Firm in 2007, Chad has been inducted into the Million Dollar Advocates Forum, one of the most prestigious groups of trial lawyers in the country. Membership is limited to lawyers who have won million and multi-million-dollar verdicts and settlements. Fewer than 1% of U.S. lawyers are members.Â
Chad started his legal career as an associate with a prominent state-wide personal injury law firm, where he secured significant settlements, punitive damage claims, and jury awards for his clients. He also previously worked at a North Miami Beach firm where he started their personal injury department and argued cases before the First District Court of Appeals. Â
Born in New Jersey and raised in Port St. Lucie, Chad graduated from the University of Central Florida in 1997 and earned his J.D. in 2001 from the Walter F. George School of Law at Mercer University.Â
When he is not on the tennis court or watching his son develop his love of the sport, Chad enjoys giving back to the community through volunteer work. He is a volunteer CCD proctor at his parish home St. Peter Catholic Church in Jupiter and previously served as Chairman of the Board of Directors for Surfers for Autism II. He is also the past president of the Martin County Bar Association and Treasure Coast Justice Association.Â
