Lillian Lesser Competes in Scripps National Spelling Bee for Third Year

Lillian Lesser, 14 years old and daughter of Managing Partner, Gary Lesser and Jennifer Lesser, participated again in this year’s Scripps National Spelling Bee in National Harbor, Maryland. This was Lillian’s third consecutive year in competing, making it to the National twice. Lillian was in the top 20% of 275 spellers from the 50 U.S. states, American Samoa, Guam, Puerto Rico, U.S. Virgin Islands, and Department of Defense Schools in Europe; also, the Bahamas, Canada, China, Ghana, Jamaica, Japan, New Zealand and South Korea.
