This spring, Lesser Lesser Landy & Smith, PLLC attorney, Chuck Geary and his wife, Becky, will depart on a 440-mile bicycle adventure from Nashville, Tennessee to Natchez, Mississippi. They will travel along the scenic Natchez Trace Parkway with 50 other riders in their effort to raise money for a great cause. Chuck says, “We will be peddling our bikes to raise funds to support poverty housing projects through The Fuller Center for Housing”.
The Fuller Center for Housing is a 501(C)(3) nonprofit organization founded by Habitat for Humanity founder, Millard Fuller. The Fuller Center works in partnership with families as homeowner partners through the Fuller Center’s “hand-up, not a handout” philosophy. Families repay the costs of building materials on terms they can afford with zero-percent interest (no-profit-made) mortgage payments which are paid into a “Fund for Humanity” to help others become homeowners. Able-bodied homeowners also are required to perform “sweat equity” in the building of their homes.
Our fully self-supported FCBA ride will begin in Nashville, Tennessee and end in Natchez, Mississippi. We will be making one stop along the way, in Houston, Mississippi, to help build a house with Fuller Center’s local covenant partner. We would greatly appreciate your support as we ride to raise funds for the Fuller Center during this challenging adventure. You can visit our fundraising pages listed below and donate online. You can learn more about our FCBA ride at Fuller Center Bike Adventure.
Mr. Geary rides to raise funds for charitable causes each year. He is very happy to be joined by his wife, Becky, this year. Please send your contribution made payable to “The Fuller Center for Housing” to Lesser Lesser Landy & Smith, PLLC at 27 SE Ocean Blvd., Stuart, FL 34994.
