While PGA golfers battled it out in New Orleans at the Zurich Classic on April 25, 2014, Lesser, Landy, Smith & Siegel golfers played hard for CHARACTER COUNTS! at Monarch Country Club in Palm City, Florida. On April 25th, Senior Partner, Shepard Lesser, Partner, Mickey Smith, lawyer, Chad Hastings and their guest, Bryan McLaughlin from the Law Offices of Sheila Biehl played 18 holes of golf for CHARACTER COUNTS! in Martin County.
CHARACTER COUNTS! is a collaborative of community organizations, schools, businesses and individual citizens committed to the development and enhancement of individual and community character. The “Six Pillars of Character” – Trustworthiness, Responsibility, Respect, Fairness, Caring, Citizenship – serve as guideposts for the countless choices children and adults are asked to make on a daily basis. Lesser Law Firm lawyer Chad Hastings was bestowed the Employee Pillar of Character Award in 2012 and Lesser Law Firm was awarded the Business of Character Award this year.
Managing Partner, Gary S. Lesser, said, “I am proud to support CHARACTER COUNTS! I believe strongly that CHARACTER COUNTS! is making a positive impact in our entire community. This is an important cause for every business to support.” Team Lesser did not come in first place. Regardless, the firm gladly supported a great cause in Martin County and had a lot of fun.
