Associate Attorney

 Imani M. Williams always knew she wanted to be an attorney and bring meaningful change to the community and for her clients.
Her path to personal injury plaintiff work began at Southern University and A & M College in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, where she studied Journalism and graduated with Honors a semester early.

Joseph H. Lesser

Managing Partner (1899-1982

Joseph H. Lesser graduated from the University of Georgia in 1917. He moved from Rome, Georgia to West Palm Beach, FL in 1925 and began selling real estate. Joe began practicing law in West Palm Beach in 1927, and the firm has continued in active practice throughout South Florida since that time. He set the Firm’s standards of professionalism and attention to client contact that are still adhered to today.

Shepard P. Lesser

Managing Partner (1935-2020)

Shepard P. Lesser was born in West Palm Beach in 1935. After graduating from Palm Beach High in 1953, Shep attended the University of Florida. He graduated with honors in 1957 and earned a B.A. in Political Science. He then attended University of Florida School of Law, graduating Phi Beta Kappa among other honors. He began practicing law with his father Joseph Lesser immediately after admission to The Florida Bar.

Charles E. Geary

Of Counsel

Charles E. Geary is a fourth-generation Martin County resident who has practiced law on the Treasure Coast for more than 40 years. Chuck is of counsel to Lesser, Lesser, Landy & Smith, PLLC, where he handles personal injury and accident cases throughout Florida. An avid cyclist, Chuck has bicycled across Florida three times and rides 200 miles roundtrip from Key Largo to Key West several times a year to raise money for Martin County non-profit organizations.  

Joshua D. Ferraro


Josh Ferraro’s decision to become an attorney was all in the family, sparked at a young age by preparing for mock trials with lawyers at his father’s firm in Martin County. As a partner in Lesser, Lesser, Landy & Smith, PLLC,  
Josh first joined the firm in 2004, immediately after graduating in the top eight percent of his class at the Stetson University College of Law and passing the Florida Bar.

Steven J. Clarfield


Steven J. Clarfield is a partner with Lesser, Lesser, Landy & Smith, PLLC, who works in our Boca Raton and West Palm Beach offices and focuses his practice solely on representing people who have been injured due to negligence or carelessness of others. 
Steve spent nearly two decades representing insurance companies and other corporate interests where he gained a vast amount of experience and understanding as to how they operate.  

Glenn E. Siegel

Personal attention to each client is why Glenn calls before every medical appointment, and what has guided his legal career over the past 26 years. Glenn has added the benefit of knowing how insurance companies think, having previously worked for Progressive Insurance Company managing thousands of personal injury protection (PIP) litigation cases throughout Palm Beach County. 

Jeffrey F. Gordon


As a licensed foster parent for more than a decade, Firm Partner Jeffrey F. Gordon is steadfast in his resolve to stand up for others.  
Jeff is a partner in our Boca Raton office who focuses his practice on personal injury and wrongful death litigation, including automobile liability, premises liability and product liability.

Chad C. Hastings

Michael S. Smith


When it comes to standing up for his clients, Mickey Smith always goes back to his roots. 
Growing up deep in the heart of coal country West Virginia, Mickey learned early on that hard work yields big results. While his parents were unable to go to college, Mickey earned a merit scholarship to Virginia Tech and then a second one to attend Duke University School of Law.

Joseph B. Landy


Joseph “Joe” Landy is a shareholder in Lesser, Lesser, Landy & Smith, PLLC, and a Nationally Board Certified Civil Trial Attorney with more than 29 years of litigation experience. 
Following several years defending insurance companies, Joe’s focus shifted to protecting the injured and their families. He joined the team at Lesser, Lesser, Landy & Smith, PLLC on Oct. 1, 2001 as a shareholder, and has been using his extensive trial and litigation experience to benefit victims of negligence ever since.


Managing Partner

Gary S. Lesser is the Immediate Past President of The Florida Bar, after ten years of service on the Florida Bar Board of Governors. Gary was appointed Chair of Florida Bar Legislation three years in a row, and also served as Chair of the Professional Ethics Committee, and served on the Strategic Planning, Disciplinary Review, Communications and Board Review on Professional Ethics Committees.
