Joseph H. Lesser graduated from the University of Georgia in 1917. He moved from Rome, Georgia to West Palm Beach, FL in 1925 and began selling real estate. Joe began practicing law in West Palm Beach in 1927, and the firm has continued in active practice throughout South Florida since that time. Shepard P. Lesser was born in West Palm Beach in 1935. After graduating from Palm Beach High in 1953, Shep attended the University of Florida. He graduated with honors in 1957 and earned a B.A. in Political Science. He then attended University of Florida School of Law, graduating Phi Beta Kappa among other honors. He began practicing law with his father Joseph Lesser immediately after admission to The Florida Bar.
