Ethel L. Velasquez
Of Counsel
Living a life dedicated to helping others is why Ethel L. Velasquez became an attorney.
With a background in immigration and criminal proceedings, Ethel now centers her practice around personal injury law. Her approach is grounded in a commitment to thorough case preparation and empathetic client care, taking immense pride in maximizing her clients’ compensation and ensuring they receive justice.
Fluent in Spanish, Ethel is dedicated to serving her clients with the utmost care and professionalism.
Ethel’s legal journey began at Florida State University, where she triple-majored in Political Science, International Affairs and Marketing, with a concentration in Professional Sales. She then excelled at St. Thomas University, earning the highest grade in Interviewing, Counseling and Negotiations, making the Dean’s List, and becoming a member of the Stephen R. Booher American Inn of Court.
The daughter of immigrants, Ethel was born in California and raised in West Palm Beach with a strong work ethic and values of gratefulness, kindness and perseverance. She believes civility should be at the forefront of the legal profession and strives to build positive working relationships with clients and fellow attorneys alike.
Ethel is actively involved in the community, volunteering her time to support the nonprofits Latinos in Action, El Sol and Legal Aid Society of Palm Beach County, and is a member of several legal organizations, including the Palm Beach County Hispanic Bar Association and Palm Beach County Florida Association of Women Lawyers.
Ethel cherishes her family — her supportive husband and their two children — who have been a source of strength and inspiration throughout her career. Balancing motherhood with law school was challenging but rewarding, and her family remains her greatest achievement and joy.
In their free time, they enjoy exploring playgrounds across Palm Beach County and discovering new local eateries. Ethel also has a passion for music, art, culture, and live performances with her husband.
Active and dedicated, she loves her job and is eager to assist you with your legal needs! Call Ethel today at 561-655-2028 or email evelasquez@lesserlawfirm.com.
