As a high school student in Cuiaba, Brazil, Ella Anderson became enthralled with reading John Grisham novels. The books inspired her to attend law school in Brazil, however, she did not get an opportunity to finish her degree before coming to the United States.Â
Life has a funny way of working things out. Â
Today, Ella is a tremendous asset to the clients of Lesser, Landy, Smith & Siegel, where she works as a legal assistant to Firm Partner Steven Clarfield.Â
“At LLL&S, I feel that the firm truly cares about their clients, their employees and their families, as well as the community,” Ella, who celebrates four years with the Firm this month, said. “It’s a great fit for me, and I really enjoy helping our clients get justice.”Â

Â
Ella is an early riser, waking up at 4:20 a.m. to go to the gym before work during the week, and watching the sunrise on the beach with her daughter, Olivia, 8, and husband, Kleber, on Sundays. Family is everything to Ella, who says she’s passionate about making sure they know how much they are loved.
Â
It might surprise you to know that Ella was a Judo champion as a teenager, and she’s also very good at video games. She dreams of one day traveling to Paris.Â
Â
And since she works for a personal injury law firm, we had to share the story of how she lost the tip of her right index finger.
“True story, when I was 7 years old, I wasplaying ambulance with my sister,” Ella recalled. “I was pretending to be the patient after an accident, laying on the ground, and she was pretending to be the ambulance. She was on a tricycle with training wheels, and she accidentally ran over my finger with one of the wheels.” At least now Ella knows a few good attorneys!
