C. Reid Bierer

PhotoReid Bierer was born in Washington, Pennsylvania and moved to Jupiter, Florida with his family in 1981.  Reid attended Furman University, where he graduated with a B.A. in Philosophy in 1987. Reid was named to the Dean's List and was active in a variety of campus activities. Reid attended graduate school at Bowling Green State University where he earned his Masters Degree in Philosophy.  He then attended The Dickinson School of Law, earning his J.D. in 1992.  While at Dickinson he served as Staff Editor of the Dickinson Journal of Environmental Law & Policy.

Reid was admitted to the Florida Bar in 1992. He began practicing law with the Palm Beach County Public Defender's Office and served as an assistant public defender for more than six years.  During those years, Reid served on the Board of Directors of the Palm Beach County Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers and on the Executive Committee of the Palm Beach County Young Lawyers Division.  In 1999, Reid joined Lesser, Lesser, Landy & Smith, PLLC on an Of-Counsel basis, concentrating on criminal defense and personal injury litigation.  During this time period, his enthusiasm for the personal injury area of practice grew.  In 2002, Reid decided to pursue personal injury full time and joined the firm as an Associate.  He has significant trial experience, having tried more than 100 cases including over 50 jury trials.  He has litigated cases in both the State and Federal Courts.  Since joining the firm, Reid has brought his litigation experience to bear in obtaining significant recoveries for the firm=s injured clients.

Reid is a member of the Florida Justice Association, Palm Beach County Justice Association, and the Palm Beach County Bar Association. He is a member of the Salvation Army Advisory Board and volunteers his time with other civic and charitable organizations.  Reid is married to Amy Everard Bierer, an attorney practicing in West Palm Beach.
